Violent Rhetoric in America - Part XIV

Union Protests against the new Wisconsin Governor elicit dreams of assassination:

OK, If you knew what a royal pain Walker was going to be…
Would you have arrange a nice slow convertible ride for
him while he was in Dallas? Is there a book depository in Madison?”

  1. Shame on you! Conservative Vicki McKenna printed an uncorroborated quote on her Facebook page as fact - though she provides NO audio or video evidence supporting her 'overheard' statement. What you are purporting as the truth is propaganda and false rhetoric hurts democracy and the public trust.

    You will not succeed.

  2. For sure Tommy. And shame on McClatchy for printing uncorroborated quotes accusing Tea Party members of racial epithets:

But come to think about it, if I'm a blogger and I hear a vile comment from a left-winger at a violent rally swarming with union thugs, should I HAVE to walk around looking for "corroboration" before I report on it? Maybe not after all.
